Markusen & Schwing, CPAs is a general purpose accounting firm organized in 1982 in the greater Portland, Oregon area to provide a wide range of services to small and medium-size businesses, individuals, not-for-profit organizations, and elder and disabled citizens, with integrity, independence and objectivity. The firm serves clients in several states including Oregon, Washington and California.
Markusen & Schwing is a CPA firm with the integrity to say what you need to hear. The firm’s independence helps it to maintain credibility with outside users of its services such as bankers and the taxing authorities, as well as the formal independence required by the profession to provide audit, review and compilation services. The CPAs at Markusen & Schwing offer the objectivity to continually take a fresh look at your needs, help you consider and understand alternatives, and provide you with meaningful advice.
We are large enough to possess the expertise to provide services to individuals and small to medium sized businesses yet small enough for a partner of the firm to provide personal service to each client. We have an excellent reputation in the profession. Many of our referrals for audit and review services come from other accounting firms who have decided not to provide these services.
